Facilities
Thunderhead Kennels training facilities are among the best. We have over
130 acres of private land to run in, including three large ponds, cut
corn fields, rolling hills, and other cover ideal for training.
In addition we have
unlimited access
to the surrounding lands of the Tonawanda
Wildlife Management Area.
Your dogs will see a variety of game throughout the training season. Ducks, Pheasants, and pigeons are used to prepare your dog for tests, as well as actual hunting situations. We do also use plastic bumpers when appropriate.
Competition dogs travel under safe, comfortable conditions at all
times. Clients with competition dogs boarding in our kennels clients
rest assured that their dogs are given full comforts, including ample
diet, hygiene, and
medical care when needed.
